Coldplay’s “Fix You” Promo
Published by January 8th, 2007 in Music, YouTube, Promo and Filming. 0 CommentsI was lucky enough to be part of the film crew filming this promo, I was an Assistant Cameraman, with two shows over two nights at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium. I was very fortunate to have an amazing view throughout the concert as I was in with sound and lighting guys who were about 60 metres from the stage. They were amazing shows and ones I’ll never forget, especially as I found, while de-rigging all the camera gear, a used, broken set of Will Champion’s drumsticks! I still have them sitting proudly on my mantle…

While doing a recce for a shoot in India, we walked around the Red Fort in Old Delhi and upon this guard, he was not posing for a photo, although you think he was, but doing his job and making sure everything was ok. I love the symmetry of the pillars making the subject appear very grand, I also made the image black and white, added a bit of grain to give the image an aged look.
